NO STAGE, NO LECTERN

Leveraging the right technologies, mitigating constraints imposed by social distancing, while creating immersive environments that truly allow participants to connect are the key success factors for any near-term event. We understand what it takes because we’ve already done it. Here is one example:

A Fortune 100 company wanted a fresh way for their CEO to feel more connected to the virtual audience. The event required delivering an engaging meeting experience, including one-on-one interactions with both attendees and over 55,000 remote participants around the globe, and interviewing a remote presenter.

In 2020, HC2 took the concept to the next level. The in-room audience at the primary venue was seated in two groups facing each other with an aisle between them, while the third side consisted of a monitor wall featuring the virtual audiences. LED screens and cameras were strategically positioned so that the CEO appeared to be amongst the audience. This set-up also allowed the CEO to appear face to face with the remote presenter during a discussion. Both in-person and remote participants merged in this environment, thus creating a feeling that everyone was present within the same venue.

The format was a huge success. The design and implementation was highly effective in creating an atmosphere of casual engagement and inclusive interaction between the participants.
